Market technical indicator Williams Percent Range or shortly Williams %R or even shorter %R determine market overbought and oversold phases. The author of this indicator is Larry Williams who is definitely one of the traders I respect (and the list of this traders is really short). This indicator is created basing on another indicator – Stochastic Oscillator. The difference between them is that Williams Percent Range is inverse and Stochastic Oscillator is computed basing on smoothing. (more…)
