NASDAQ (National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations) stock exchange is one of the biggest stock exchanges in the United States and in the World. It was established by National Association Of Securities Dealers (NASD) in 1971. In year 2008 there were represented stock and shares of 2952 US and non-US corporations from all sectors and it is the most exchange with the most actively traded stocks. In year 2008 the total value of stocks traded was $36556.5 trillion, more than in NYSE (now it is $12.6 trillion and NYSE stock are valued for almost $18 trillion) . (more…)
